Fixflex International is an Italian jewellery, high-jewellery and silversmithing Maison founded in 2005, admired in the world for its craftsmanship and the uniqueness of its creations. Today, the Fixflex International jewels stand out for their design and for the techniques used to create them, such as the hand-engraving technique, dating back to the goldsmithing traditions of the Italian “bottega” of the Renaissance times.

For our Atelier in Valenza, we are looking for a  Process Engineering Specialist .

Main responsibilities:

  • Ensure the correct execution of production activities, contribute to the management/purchase of department materials.
  • Actively collaborate in projects for the introduction of new machinery, new production technologies and the industrialization of new products;
  • Be a technical reference for the department’s production activities through expertise in production cycles and process management.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects relating to the creation of the first examples of a new product, collaborating with UT Centrale;
  • Analyze Quality data in collaboration with the central Quality Authority to manage the continuous improvement process of the product process
  • Create and update product quality sheets
  • Work with central UT for Product and Process definition in search of cost optimization
  • ASPP as support to the Safety part (Manage accidents/near misses, Manage Safety Walk action plans,…)
  • Manage continuous improvement projects to reduce waste and inefficiencies
  • Manage periodic and extraordinary maintenance of the machinery in the atelier
  • Analyze potential quality issues and develop resolution strategies

Do you match this profile?

  • Degree in Materials or Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Expert
  • Technical knowledge of processes;
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing tools;
  • Good knowledge of SAP management (PP, MM)
  • Expertise in interpreting laboratory analyses (metallographies, hardness tests);
  • Previous experience in the watch and/or jewelry industry will be considered a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Aptitude for data analysis and reporting (Excel, Power Point)
